Jensi Shaw grew up in Northwest Ohio but left the Buckeye state when God called her into an unexpected career as a middle school math teacher on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Jensi’s calling in life is to “love people and be a safe place for them,” and she makes it her aim to write to this end. As a 7th grade teacher, Jensi spends most of her time building relationships, making quick comebacks to witty pre-teens, and attempting to explain why in the world they need to solve for X. Outside of the classroom, Jensi loves powerlifting, exercising horses, her church community, and reading about exercise physiology and trauma recovery.
